Kitchen Revolution returning at Stringybark Festival, today Sunday 21 Oct
Last year at Stringybark the challenge was to unpack and explore what it took to empower a community around the issues of waste and waste reduction. We did this via the instruments of food, composting, live presentation and hands on learning. It was held together cohesively through community and commercial partnerships, each committed to a common cause.
This shared approach to change helped render into view some big and bold ideas. These ideas, interactions and messages were eagerly embraced by a general public ready for change.
In 2018 we want to build on those efforts and goodwill to create even greater levels of awareness for the issues that matter to some of us but concern all of us. We want to get back in the kitchen, back in the garden and back to basics. We want to stay true to our themes of waste and food waste reduction but want to explore how we can do more.
How do we collectively achieve this? Presentations start at 10am. Come along and join us to share ideas.
